Every dollar is tracked.
You will see exactly which project your gift went to, and the report that follows it. Monthly giving is what lets us commit to a family before the money arrives.
Donation
82¢ of every dollar goes straight to families, clinics, kitchens and artist grants.
What monthly changes
A one-time gift funds a Sunday. A monthly gift lets us tell a partner kitchen they can plan for the year, which is the difference between a service and a promise.
Recurring donors are also the reason we can respond to an emergency in 72 hours instead of running an appeal first. When the floods hit Rio Grande do Sul, the money was already there.
Other ways to give
- Bank transfer or check — email foundation@dukevi.com and we will send details. No processing fees, so slightly more reaches the ground.
- Donor-advised fund — we can accept DAF grants once our determination letter is issued.
- Corporate partnership — sponsor a pillar or a named project, with quarterly reporting and content rights.
- In kind — food, transport, studio time, equipment. Tell us what you have.
Questions
Before you give.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Not yet. Our application for 501(c)(3) recognition is pending with the IRS. Until a determination letter is issued, contributions are not tax-deductible, and we will not tell you otherwise.
Determination is typically retroactive to the date of incorporation, which means gifts made now may become deductible once it is granted — but that is not a promise, and you should talk to your own accountant.
What does the 82% actually mean?
82 cents of every dollar goes to program costs: food, clinic subsidies, emergency grants, artist grants and the direct costs of running those programs. 11 cents covers operations — staff, insurance, accounting, legal, compliance. 7 cents covers fundraising.
We publish the split every quarter alongside the underlying figures, not just the percentage.
Can I choose which project my money funds?
Yes, for gifts of $250 and above. Email us and we will restrict it to a named project and send you that project’s report directly.
For everything else we ask for unrestricted funds, because they let us move money to whichever project needs it most that month.
How do I cancel or change a monthly gift?
One email to foundation@dukevi.com, no questions and no retention call. You can also change the amount at any time. We would rather have you at a smaller amount for years than lose you over an awkward cancellation.
Who is behind the foundation?
The foundation was started by Keven — the artist Dukevi — and is governed by an independent board. Board composition, compensation and conflict-of-interest policy are published on the transparency page.
